Product Overview
The fundamental concept behind a permanent magnet generator lies in the rotor incorporating permanent magnet materials to produce a steady magnetic field. This magnetic field remains constant due to the inherent properties of the permanent magnets embedded within the rotor.
When an external prime mover, such as a wind turbine, water turbine, or an engine, drives the rotor to spin, the magnetic field created by the rotor rotates as well. As this rotating magnetic field passes through the stator windings, it interacts with the conductors wound around the stator.
Based on the law of electromagnetic induction, the movement of the magnetic field relative to the stator windings induces an electromotive force (EMF) within those windings. By connecting an external load or circuit to the stator, the generator can deliver electrical power generated from mechanical energy.
